The National Housing Supply and Affordability Council has recommended governments commit to lifting social and affordable housing up to 10 per cent of Australia's housing stock. HAAG supports this ambition. We make further recommendations to use the terms public and community housing, define affordable housing, set aside housing for older people, and ensure consistent and fair implementation.
