Our advocacy and care finder team visited the Flemington older person's high rise, to attend a morning tea organised by the Victorian Public Tenant's Association and listen to residents about their concerns on the recent announcement about the redevelopment of their homes.
Quite a few residents had mobility issues, with people using walking frames and walking sticks. People were confused about the timelines and when they would need to move, the size of the units at Holland street being alot smaller, and their right of return. There was a lack of clarity on information from Homes Victoria.
