Retirement Accommodation Action Group

Are you passionate about retirement housing reform? A new HAAG working group combining Independent Living Unit and Retirement Housing Residents will be meeting throughout 2018. The working group will meet on the second Tuesday of every month from 11-1pm (with the exception of May) and will be at HAAG . The dates for the year are as follows:

Monday 14th of May 1pm (CALC complaints workshop runs from 2-4pm)

Tuesday 12th of June

Research indicates that this group suffers the highest level of financial detriment due to scams. CAV are currently planning a scams campaign for 2018 and would like to get some insights into scams issues from some everyday Victorians...

Ageing on the Edge in NSW - A State of Crisis for Older Renters?

The national Ageing on the Edge – Older Persons Homelessness Prevention Project is holding a half day forum on the renting crisis facing older people in NSW. The forum will include the latest research on older renters in NSW and hear from older people and advocates about the housing challenges faced by older people on low incomes. Attendees are invited to work towards solutions. Morning tea will be provided.
