Community Engagement Worker

We are seeking a versatile and experienced community development professional to support the effective delivery of HAAG’s community engagement work, including implementation of the Wicking Ageing on the Edge Older Persons’ Homelessness Prevention Project. You will be assisting our Prevention and Early Intervention workers and supplementing their efforts on both project-related and ongoing HAAG community engagement. This is a short-term position within our growing organisation.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be minimal face-to-face work and you will need the ability to work from home. You will have high levels of self-organisation, a collaborative approach and can-do attitude. Knowledge of systems and peer advocacy and campaigning an advantage.

HAAG is committed to recruiting a diverse range of people with a diverse range of talents to help us achieve our goals. We encourage applications from culturally and linguistically diverse, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.

Housing for the Aged Action Group provides generous salary and conditions.
