“Ageing in Place the Way Forward” - Country Summary Reports

The International Federation on Ageing 2008 Montreal meeting selected the theme of Ageing-in-Place. The Meeting was designed to provide a forum for officials to examine current trends in policy and practice as they relate to Ageing-in-Place in the face of rapid global population ageing. The programme was developed with a focus on the mutual interests of participants, and designed to promote dialogue and interaction among delegates – some of whom represented countries who are well advanced, while others from countries who have not yet been able to tackle the problem. This Final Report documents its findings.
