The Support at Home (SaH) program aims to deliver a simpler and more equitable system that helps older people stay at home for longer. HAAG supports this aim. However, evidence indicates that the design and implementation of SaH, and the unresolved transition from CHSP, are creating new barriers to access, new financial risks, and new forms of service failure, particularly for older renters, people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, and people without informal support networks.
