 Victorian Women Lawyers is holding a screening of the O.W.L.s documentary - Older Women Lost in Housing.  Over 680,000 Australian women aged 45 and over are lost to affordable secure and accessible housing. Hidden and under- represented, O.W.L.s are the fastest growing group in our community experiencing homelessness.

Residents living in retirement housing who have problems with their managers may find it hard to get results. They may feel frustrated that complaints to Consumer Affairs Victoria go nowhere, that managers flout the law or trample on residents rights with no consequences.

In this two hour workshop, residents will hear about the types of issues that can be taken to the regulator Consumer Affairs Victoria and the best way to make your complaint count.

Are you passionate about retirement housing reform? A new HAAG working group combining Independent Living Unit and Retirement Housing Residents will be meeting throughout 2018. The working group will meet on the second Tuesday of every month from 11-1pm (with the exception of May) and will be at HAAG . The dates for the year are as follows:
